Michael Wohl

A second-generation real estate developer and resident of south Florida since 1975, Michael Wohl is recognized as an industry leader and innovator for his over three-decade record of performance, integrity, creativity and implementation across numerous submarkets and product types in Florida. His training and prior practice as an attorney provides him with invaluable skills, experience, and perspective in negotiating, documenting and closing acquisitions and sales of real estate assets. The past two decades as the co-Founder of a leading Miami based housing firm, he has built and operated a residential rental portfolio of over 60 communities and 10,000 apartment units, majority of which are still owned.

His involvement in quality affordable housing in urban environments and his service as Chairman of the Urban Land Institute’s Center for Workforce Housing are meritorious. Wohl’s philanthropic endeavors are considerable; including The First Tee of Miami Dade Amateur Golf Association, providing youth educational programs, Lauren’s Kids, to benefit child abuse victims, AIDS Walk Miami, and the Miami Veterinary Foundation. Wohl holds both a Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctor degrees from Syracuse University., where three generations of Wohls have matriculated. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees at his Alma Mater. He is a Florida licensed Real Estate Broker and Mortgage Broker.

DEAN BORG

Recognized in the South Florida real estate community for his innovative sales campaigns, attention to design details, customer-first business philosophy and financial acumen, Dean Borg has built, sold, and delivered over the past two decades more than 1,700 residential homes, with a value in excess of $750 million. A second-generation builder, Borg got his start working summers in the 1980s as a laborer for a construction company in New York City which instilled in him a continued unwavering work ethic. His career continued as an associate for a development firm in the Tucson and Phoenix markets. He returned to New York City, as director of business development for a major general contracting firm, specializing in high-rise residential buildings. An active member of the South Florida community, he has served as treasurer for Congregation B’nai Israel, as Fundraising Coordinator for Saint Andrews School, as a board member of Boca Helping Hands, as a special advisor to First Southern Bank and Fremont Capital (the Bechtel family) on their REO properties, and as a Board of Director of Kreisler Borg Florman Construction Company (New York). Borg holds a Master of Science degree in Real Estate Development from Columbia University School of Architecture and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Arizona, as well as a Florida Real Estate Salesman’s License.

He is a highly skilled real estate professional with a successful track record in land planning, design, finance, construction and marketing. Over the past two decades, he has been responsible for the implementation, operations and successful completion of more than $2 billion of real estate ventures. Because of the intimate local market knowledge that Finkelstein has garnered over time, numerous national institutions and investors regularly seek his guidance and insights when making significant business decisions. He has established a deep legacy of community and charitable involvement. Finkelstein is the founding trustee and current president of the Daniel D. Cantor Senior Center, National Conference of Christians and Jews Board Member, Chairman’s Council – Make-A-Wish Foundation, former governor of the Honda Golf Classic Foundation, former Chairperson of the City of Pompano Beach Community Redevelopment Agency, National Trustee at the University of Maryland, and Chairman of the Real Estate Division. He holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland, a postgraduate degree from the New York University Institute of Real Estate, and is licensed as a State Certified General Contractor, Real Estate Broker, and Property Manager in the State of Florida.
